Storage of Cleaning Supplies

For the safety of all children, cleaning supplies must not be stored in bottom cabinets under any circumstances. 

All large containers (e.g., bleach, hand soap refills, disinfectants, etc.) must be securely stored in:

• The designated kitchen cabinets, or
• The Maintenance Room.

Bottom Cabinets

Bottom cabinets must remain locked at all times, regardless of their contents. This is a mandatory safety requirement in accordance with licensing regulations and the center’s health and safety policies.

Failure to comply with this policy may result in disciplinary action to ensure the safety of the environment for all children and staff.
