Access Code Policy and Procedure

Each family and staff gets an individual access code at registration/employment and is responsible not to disclose it to the third parties. It is parents/guardians and staff’s responsibility to communicate to the manager if they have any suspicions of the access code had been disclosed and might be used by the third party.   

In registration forms parents will name people authorized to pick their child(ren) up from the facility. These people will use family code. It is parents’ responsibility to make them aware about confidentiality of the access code.  

If parents or authorized persons are not able to drop-off or pick-up, and had to inform the centre about the new person coming to the centre, the staff will open the door and will follow “Safe Release” procedure. If access code had to be disclosed, family will be provided with the new code. 

It is parent’s responsibility to arrange the pick-up/drop-off by “new emergency person” with the staff and then to approach staff in order to receive a new access code. 

If the parent-center/employment contract is to be terminated the access code is to be immediately blocked.
